At Fit Right Footwear, we professionally measure and fit shoes to the individual. Size means very little – for us it is only a starting point.
All brands fit differently; even within a brand fittings are different depending on the last and style. For us it is about finding the right shoe to meet the needs of our customer.
Sometimes this may mean trying several styles within a brand or a selection of several brands, before we find a suitable well-fitting shoe. Feet that have been wearing shoes that have no or very little support or structure soon become used to this lack of support. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that, when we suddenly place feet into shoes that are more ‘constructed’, it can feel slightly odd to begin with, simply because our feet are just not used to it. We have all been guilty of wearing uncomfortable, non-supportive shoes just because they look good.
All our shoes have removable footbeds to accommodate custom made or off the shelf insoles.
Finn Comfort
A German brand of footwear. Shoes have anatomical, removable cork and leather topped insoles with varying degrees of arch support and cushioning for ultimate comfort. Sole units can be replaced. Styles available for both men and women.

DB Wider Fit Shoes
A British company from Northampton. Established in the 1920’s, DB specialises in the design and manufacture of wider fitting footwear. Styles for men and women in a variety of styles with a range of sizes, widths and depths.
Waldlaufer
Meaning ‘to walk in the forest’ this is a German footwear brand that has removable insoles and is available in a variety of width fittings and depths for men and women. Some designs offering a multi-stretch for more awkward feet.
Legero
An Austrian brand founded in 1872. Comfortable casual shoes and boots with removable insoles.
Fidelio
An Austrian footwear brand incorporating removable anatomically formed removable cork and leather footbeds, and a multi width system into their footwear. Shoes and boots in a range of styles. Some designs offering a multi-stretch for more awkward feet.
